Ask Arren > Bar stools

Hi Arren, I hope the move is going well. I recall you wrote a piece for the NP on bar/counter stools. In your scouting, did you come across an affordable source for reproduction modern stools (on the web there are so many state-side). I am looking for two bar stools for my kitchen & was thinking a repro-bertoia. Thanks!

Hi Kareena, Yep, that's right, I did do a Style Scout for the National Post on stools. Hmmm, for something modern and Bertoia-ish I'd suggest checking out Morba at 667 Queen West in Toronto (416.364.5144) . They carry lots of new and vintage pieces in that style and may even be able to order something in for you from one of their suppliers, so it's always worthwhile asking. If you're not in Toronto let me know, and I'll put my thinking cap on to come up with other resources for you.
